who is is everyone insured with (with 2l in) and how much do you pay,

i was quoted £430 tpft from HIC

aged 22, 5yrs driving experience, 4yrs no claims, no convictions and no accidents in last 3 years

if they go by the insurance group the engine came from do they add more because its a conversion?

Well mine went froma group 6 a group 15 with the engine as thats what group the Astra was. Then they added 2 groups for all the bodywork.

HIC is ur best bet m8 as they were a lot cheaper than adrian flux who i was with before by about 350 notes

HIC, £1400 FC, 21, 0 NCB, agreed value in event of write-off, and trackday cover (higher excess on that though)...

Couldn't really complain considering my NCB (first policy in my name)...

Any idea on how HIC are to performace enhancing modifications aswell? I'll be 23 by time I get the car sorted, so should improve chances of a decent priced quote.
