They are lanzar components. The crackling is deffinatley comin from the tweeter. Is there any way to test a speaker with a multi meter to see if its broke?

Y do you say it like that mate.........Is it quite common with lanzar speakers???? Got them from my local ICE shop. Dont know y it has blown coz they have been in for a year and i always have them at the same volume. If its a common fault i will replace them with a different make.
Cheers for the replies.

To be honest yes, they are pretty poor quality. Oh and the Car Audio Centre Nottingham/Manchester is run by crooks - believe me I KNOW.
