Anyone heard anything about these. i've read on vauxhall that they do 111.mpg ?? only 1.3 tho wonder what top speed they would have ?

oh right !! oops ! still better good mileage! need a car that last distance cause i might be going 200 miles on a friday night to go see my g/f down south ! and 200 miles back on a sunday

There is going to be a new 1.7CDTI Corsa, SRi with good 0-60mph and 288mm discs at the front just hint at the performance, They are being delivered to dealers at the mo I think! The new 1.8 SRi's are coming with the 288mm discs aswell instead of the old 260mm

1.3 engine is a FIAT design. the new 1.9 engiens going into the vectra are FIAT as well. new Stilo is getting 3.2 V6, 2.0L turbo from GM as well. the mk3 punto which shares it's platform with the CorsaD gets a 1.6 turbo engine as well

1.7 cdti is a 100 bhp isuzu engine, same one thats in the new civic. probs alot better than the fiat one. its based on the old 1.7 8v block which is very good, now has a 16v head and common rail injection. good for 130 bhp with a chip.

Yeah, they have 240nm as standard as well

they are really nice little engines, the 1.3

got one as a demo in work, coming for sale end of the month.

nice little punch in the turbo too

very impressed with it
