Getting a 106 GTI in 2 weeks, got a quote from elephant.
They are 120BHP, group 13, im 20 0 no claims, decent postcode.
price is £1169 fully comp
Well pleased with that, because i pay a similar amount on my corsa!

10 month sounds good Adam, why is it crap?Im taking a policy out with elephant soon; was gonna go for the 10 month bonus thingy! If its seriously naff then ill just do the normal 12 month!

ask them if 'there' 10 month 'full 1yr NCD' counts on other insurers.... they will prob say 'yeah'
BUT ..... check with other ins comp's that the accept it..... you could do 10months and not get 1yr NCD....

Apparently they provide a certificate that says you have 1yr NCD after the 10 month period. I presume it would be the same as if you were on a 12 month policy.
Oh and blacksxi- from what ive seen/heard of elephant youll get a decent quote for any of those cars, ive got 0 NCD and my quote was reasonable. As long as your postcode is ok elephant are cheap as fook
