Playing fifa 2004 and when i aim to kick the ball towards the opponents goal it goes the other way

Played it with two perfectly good controllers and it's still does it, started when im paused a game and pressed x to resume and it would but then it would automatically go back to the pause menu

Infact it was ok for the first half (didnt press pause jus played thru)

Then it went to the menu at half-time so i pressed to restart and suddenly my players are kicking towards my goal

Damn game, too late to take back now and it's shit

Exactly.Get yourself a decent footie game like Pro Evo 3. So much better than FIFA.

Strted when using analouge, so now im using normal controller and it still happens
