which is better?
we're all booked to fly over for the Wales vs N.Ireland match in 8th September, staying over for a night, but dunno whether to stau in Bristol or Cardiff
we are flying to Bristol, and i know Cardiff is only 30mins on the train from it - but whats the pub/club scene like in both

Cardiff is freindlier and not as ruff; i also find it a lot cheaper.

i'd say cardiff without a doubt. I live her so may be biased. But - if you're coming over to watch the footie you've gotta stay in the area where its happening, too much hassle getting train and stuff. THe atmosphere will be wicked. I can tell you some good hotels to stay in.
