Zubin breezed into Holby and caused havoc everywhere on his first day. An old friend of Ric and Tom's, Zubin soon tested his long standing friendships when he roped them into some unorthodox, off-the-record surgery, placing everyone's careers on the line.


Although Zubin can be arrogant and verbally unrestrained at times, he has a good heart and genuinely cares about the welfare of his patients. He was married and it is unclear how his wife died. He has a turbulent relationship with his daughter, having shipped her off to America at the age of 15.
