play it safe around 1250-1500 miles
i remember when the corsa C SRi first came out, some lad near where i am must of literally had it about 2 days, was raggin the arse off it & blew the bottom end

i did about 1500miles of run in on the supra...
redlined it i 1st once (by mistake....)
It was an auto and i thought it was in D... i just kept gradualy accelerating, then a loud back fire as i hit the limiter.... whoops

BRAND new corsa's do not need to be run in at all anymore, i bought my new corsa thursday and i asked the dealers and they said u can rag it straight away jus not all the time, and i was also told it is good 2 rag it once every now and then 2 blow the shit out of it. jus down red line it all the time u'll b fine, or jus phone vauxhall and ask em urself

When the engine is new you need to ru it in to get everything flowing well, you will notice that your fuel consumption is high, until its run in this will happen then the fuel will level off more. Ragging it when new will kill it. Definatly not recommended.
Drive it conservatively for about 1000-1250 miles to be safe.

my uncle has just got a new celica and they said the same. but to be honest i wouldn't rag it, i would ru it in. u pay all that money for it so why run the risk of doing it damage for the sake of 1000-1500 miles
