I've bitten off more than I can chew money wise and a recent personal circumstance has made it a bit difficult to afford.

had a nice insurance quote from tesco earlier and it was only £80 more for the turbo!
Anyone know what they are like for mods? Nothing major, just the usual alloys, kit, and exhaust.

good price but ideally wanted something a touch newer.
02/52 plate, as i don't want something older than what i have now.
Cheers Ian

Havent read the whole thread but i've been in both and driven the 1.8 and i can say there is a clear difference in power. The 2.2 keeps pulling where the 1.8 doesnt. 2.2 if you can

80 quid more to insure, there's that decision made then.
Alloys - standard are nice enough.
Kit - Irmscher if anything although I prefer them without the stick on bits.
Exhaust - Duplex looks alright

fair enough Ian, cheers for the ideas.
Still have a few weeks to go though - 25 March - waiting til i'm 21 as the insurance is a hell of a lot cheaper.
But at least i've got it down to 1 car now - rather than the 6 i was looking at originally.
Cheers guys

Wanting something a touch newer? You won't get much newer than 20,000 miles for £10,500!
