At my local market yesterday. Went to a number plate store. They got black number plates with chrome lettering for £12 each.
Now are they illegal or ok for everyday road use?
The bloke looked pretty genuine (not a shifty pikey) selling them.

no number plate other than standard are legal if a copper wants to get funny
best bet is to get a set made up and just use them for special occasions like meets and shows ect
and codswallop

Silver lettering on black plates is only legal on cars registered before March 1973. They won't suit a Corsa
