take a postive (+) from your battery, wire in a fuse, run it into the car, wire a push button switch (like a doorbell, needs to be held on to work), then run the + to the + connection on the solenoid, then run a wire from the earth on the solenoid (-) and connect it to some bare metal or an exsisting earth on your bootlid, easiest way to do it i reckon...

did you just make a bracket up out of a piece of alu???
dont need a bracket it will just screw to the body work and the oringanal boot rod has a curve on the end so it concets straight up 5minit job

excellent. only other thing, what have you done so that the boot actually opens without it having to be caught? ie there is a double latch.

you can either file off the safety latch (bad idea), add a spring (tricky), or investigate this for me...
www.customconcepts.co.uk
advertise in the back of fast car and say they have "door poppers to push past the second catch". sounds good..
also magic swipe entry, flame thrower kits, and tap on your glass entry systems...
