i beleive that if i want uprated brakes i will have to go with the new astra ones, but how much would it cost for a conversion?
idealy i wanted drilled and grooved discs and the rest of the stuff to suit,
any ideas on what it will cost ?

I was thinking of a brake upgrade, but to be honest, a 1.2 doesnt need bigger than they are manufactured with

Just upgrade to Grooved Black Diamond discs with EBC pads. £175 from PVD, they should be more than enough to stop a 1.2 and are much better than the standard stuff.

remember the sri's are vented, sxi is not, so your brakes will always be better with that setup
i'm planning on the vectra v6 conversion, £200-£300

to be honest you may be right, i thought pvd listed them in their catalogue but it just says corsa, i'm sure i've seen something somewhere!
one of the new astras must have decent callipers and discs which are 4 stud? something must!
