Anyone know where i can find out details of a car from its reg number. Only stuff like year made, engine size etc, not owner or personal details. I know its publically avaiable as when i was getting an insurance quote, i entered my reg and it found my details, but i dont remember which company it was!

This clio looked like a shed, but it went like fuck even with 5 people in, and i wanted to know the engine size. Im guessing it has had a conversion and just not registered, as i dont think a 1.2 5up could beat my 1.4 sri!
