I started my job with a bunch of new graduates, I was the only one who didn't have a degree. 3 years on I am doing better and am at least 1 grade higher than all of them.
Universities don't do fuck all anymore unless you want to be a lawyer/doctor etc..
i belive will and determination have something to do with it
on my work experience at 16 i was doing more then the people there in their late 28s/30s/40s but i havnt got a chance unless i get a degree

most major citys and towns are full of asylum seekers, even the outskirts are being loaded with them now. I saw this on a programme about rail cops. I'm sure if you looked into it you will discover the fact is a fact.
no I don't see lots of people seeking assylum. so you don't actually know for a fact that the UK has the slackest laws. would you be interested to know we have the toughest laws compared to france Europe and Germany

uni graduates take the most important roles occupationally in society, how could you receive the correct education to be a doctor, architect, politician without studying at university??
if the government put up tuition fees this will deter more and more students from choosing to study at university, meaning that in years to come there will be a shortage of surgeons, doctors etc as people simply couldnt afford to study at university in order to gain the skillos they need.
its alright saying you do better than a graduate in a mickey mouse job but at the top end of the scale where it is essential that the correct skills are taught in a manner which is prooven to work and has done for years, the government will be shooting themselves in the foot.
as a uni student i resent being called lazy by fuckwits who think because they did an apprenticeship and know how to work a machine or wire a plug theyve got their career sorted for life
im in my design studio at least 10 hours a day, i have shit loads of work to do for assessment at the end of each week, i work my arse off, and then i work my part time job at a weekend so that i can afford to live
rant over

denmark is mnore tough than ours although most EU countries have now centralised their laws so that the general rules are the same in all EU states
