Induction kit is a waste of money.
I shall be sticking mine inside my dads Hyundai Coupe 1.6 cos it looks like it will fit.

Go for a Green panel filter with a drilled box (obviously not the same side as the engine).
Everybody has their opinion, I went through several combinations of filter and cone with the corsa before I settled on the above. If you can, try a few different ones that mates have and see what you think.

Drill ya airbox and stick a decent panel filter in it. Then get a nice cold air feed to it and you shall be about £50 up and with more BHP then any induction cone will provide.

Exactly.
Cones are OK if you travel to work/college in the morining at 95mph all the way without stopping. IN normal conditions they suck in dirty shitty warm air.

Cones are good for noise. If u want a loud grumble choose the BFO cone as its stupidly loud
So far i have had:
-K&N57i
-Drilled air box with vaux filter
-BFO cone
-Drilled air box with K&N panel filter and pipercorss cold air feed.
Best i'd say is the last one.

They suck in warm air but not dirty, otherwise you would have a nasty mess of n engine.
Drilled box is still best bet (and cheapest) unless you shield the cone.
I have a Green cone filter on mine as there is no room for airbox.

I had a Jetex one once that had a universal fit and was quite small in diameter so it sat in my airbox (with the lid off obviously) and it used to make a mad roar, revurberating inside the box. Fcukin hated it so that only stayed in a day or two.
