so it's your car yet your doing what your girlfriend wants fair enough get a new car if you got the cash but get something you want not the girlfriend does. it's not like your getting a family car is it. I suggest you tell her to GTF

keep the corsa and get a vx turbo when they are cheaper and you can afford the insurance - dont buy a car for the sake of it

What about a Astra Convertiable if you have to get something convertiable ? a 2.2 or 2.0, 1.8. We had a 2.2 In work in black with leather looked nice.

i doubt you would want to live with a vx220 day in day out makes a nice weekend second car but no daily runner!

Had one in fdor some work yesterday, owners had it 1 month and its up for sale. More like a kit car than a sports car in his opinion!
Its th 2.2 and not as quick as i thought, it needs to be revved hard to work. But drives and stops well and certainly turns heads!
Has the girlfriend tried getting into a vx220?
She would have you changing it again within a month
