Hi Im replacing the engine in a couple of months time so just wondered if anyone out there wanted a 70A alt for X12XE engine? They usually come with 55A unless they have aircon. I only want approx £35 for it and its covered no more than 30K miles. It will be ready for sale in 2-3months time so quite a way away.

the x12xe, that the engine out of a corsa B 1.2? how easy are the to replace? might be interested mate, but it all depends if i get me old dears corsa etc etc btw, will it take anymore power from the engine that the standard 55a jobbie?

Yeah, its just two nuts and bolts and then you leaver the tensioner off the belt so very easy job... It hasent took any power away as its only a 15A increase.
