Can depend on make of tyre too -- yoko's roll off quite nicely but some other tyres bulge more...

Does it only rub one side? Mine used to rub just on the drivers side -- don't think Corsa build tolerances are all that

Im on Avons, rubed on front both sides before the arch work and now only on full lock and harsh bumps like pot holes, and rubs on the left with 1 in the back sitting in the middle!!

I had mine down 40mm on a full Gmax kit on 16's with Uniroyal Rainsports and it scrubbed to fcuk with just me in. It had dropped much more than 40mm tho, Chaned the springs to 30mm now and still get a bit of scrubage on fronts.

I used to get rubbing when i had 195/45/16s and down 60 on g max, dont need to get psg wide arches, just take plastic arches off and trim them back(small lip on hem, then get someone with an air saw to cut the metal arch upto the spot welds and pull the arches out, i got my g-max suspension fitted and arch work done for £30 so not expensive

If you wanna stop nearly all rubbing get the 195/40 tyres and you will be laughing

If the wheels/tyres are rubbing against the arch.. then why hack away metal to get them to clear - just raise the car up a bit or fit smaller wheels!

If they are gonna catch its usually on the drivers side, don't think its a build quailty thing is its fairly common, maybe the rear beam isn't perfectly central to the bodywork.

Catching on 16's is unusual though, must be a very genuine 60mm drop. My brothers is 60mm on 16's and its LOW, but doesn't catch.

It is the build tolerences that Corsas have (according to my mechanic)... Mine rubs on the back passenger arch a little bit, but on the other side theres loadsa room, thats with 195/46 x 16 Toyos on ET 45...

debolt the archs and stick em on, if it still does it stick some longer bumpstops in the rear shocks, mine dont rub down 60mm and my 16's are et40.

Yes done the arch work on the front, and solved it just not on full lock and really harsh bumps!! Looks the nuts though, which is what im after, and i rarley have many people in the car anyway.

Btw it's a g-max kit got it off iaz aaaages ago must be 5 months ago and only jus fitted it

I would get 15's thinking about it, but not got the money to change
