i have succeded in making my own single wiper. you just have to work out the angles and knowing where to cut.
i will TRY and get some picks but i cannot pormise any.

I left my single wiper switched on last night, when I started the car this morning the wiper came on, but was covered in snow. The weight of the snow was too much and caused the wiper linkage to snap.

do u know were i could get 1 of thos smooth wiper arms? sorry to hear that dan how much will it cost to replace it ?

that was a bit unlucky mate.i always check my wipers just incase iv'e left them on

Just had a quick look at it, the single wiper likage has snapped( £100) and the bracket which connects it to the car aswell( Will have to get a new one fabricated and welded on). Oh and it went for its MOT last week and came back with a £550 bill.

Gutted mate, I had a storm smooth wiper arm in my garage for ages, but I had a clean out about 2 months ago and that was one of the things I chucked away, could of had it for nowt. I think Storm/Monostyle sell em for about 20 notes.

all u do it chop 10mm off the linkage, easy as that.

any1 wanna make a walk-thru for the DIY single wiper, don't wanna spend £100 if i don't have to 
plus i like a little challenge for my sunday afternoons lol!
