Just thought i'd post this here as a lot of you have maxpower cars...
What is Maxpower all about, i bought it the other day to get some numbers for insurance,
it was Bodykit on wheels, naked woman, bodykit on wheels, naked woman, bodykit on wheels, naked woman,how to add stupid neons, naked woman, Next month bodykit on wheels,
Seems to be aimed at loners who have nothin betta to do than w@nk over pics and add plastic, fiberglass and filler to cars,
Now the main point, These bodykit, neons, stickers etc look shite, why do people add them, Combat kits are the worst, i neva understand why there are so many about, they are ugly as fook, standard bumpers are way betta, just wanna know it its all in the head, ie, bodykits are ace so lets add 1, even if it looks crap its still ace coz its like maxpower,
I used to have a 1.2 nova as first car, added 16's and dropped it -40, when i told people what car i had they said... Has it got alloys? then is it kitted up?
Not how big are the alloys, Not what bodywork has it got...
Its just got to have alloys and i kit, dont matter what, could be 13in alloys and a bit of drain pipe bonded tobottom of door,
My main worry are people who think its good to add 2.o badged to cars, usually clio's, believe me i have driven a 1.2 clio, they are the slowest, i couldnt overtake a truck that was doin 40 in a 60 zone, they sit at lights with 2.0 on side and stupid spikey hair with the rear drums... you can so tell its a 1.2, so why do they do it?
Also it sends out a message that you have to actlike a knob at any sort of cruise, ie, wheelspins, handbrakes and burnouts...

Max Power is for boyracers
They think they seem to rule the modifying trend.
WEll, they encourage neon washer jets, + Exhaust tips and air caps. The staff are all arrogent and so far up their own areses and generally think everyone loves them.
Its no longer a car magazine. At all! Its a mag like Loaded but with a few cars, and fuck loads of cuntish adverts

I have to agree with you mate, Maxpower is for boyracers I despise it! But not everyone who mods their car is classed as a boyracer. That’s what really p*sses me off, some people see you have a set of alloys on you car and your automatically classed as a boyracer! We're not all Burberry cap wearing 17 year old w4nkers who think that they can race anything on the road in their 1.2 Nova.

the real ppl who love and spend a fotune on their cars dont read max power.
max power is full of plugs aswell. They have minted cars but have paid nothing for it as they get the stuff free to give the company a positive review.
THEY ARE ALSO PAID TO GIVE CERTAIN PRODUCTS GOOD REVIEWS.

It really bores me wen people slag off maxpower and that. Why cant people just accept its each to their own, yeah sum cars are shite but 99% of the cars in maxpower have thousands spent on them! Maxpowers not just about novas and shit, they feature supras and skylines too. Not everyone with a modified is a knob either, and not every modded car driver wears burberry, its normally the stupid twatts waitin to smash your car in to rip out your stezza to sell it for £20 to get his drugs for the day who you'll find in his burberry track suit! You mod your car and spend thousands on it to make it look different from every other bog standard car with standard bumpers and people slag it off, its just shite.
