Hmm... I can't decide what to do... I'm sick of only having a 1.2 16v...
I want something quite a bit more nippy...
Last year I paid £1450 f/c on my Sxi, this year it'll probably be about £1100.
I'm now 19, with 1 years NCB and Pass Plus.
Should I, keep the corsa, and leave it alone, wait a couple of years and get something better (meaning I gotta go a few years dribbling around in a 1.2)
or, keep the corsa, kit it, and then perhaps drop a faster engine in a couple of years (also means I gotta dribble around in a 1.2)
or, sell the corsa, buy a 106 Gti, and pay a stupid amount of insurance this year?
I'm getting quotes of about £2000 f/c for a 106 Gti, and about £1500 tpft. (though I haven't tried adrian flux with their 15% discount)...
Problems are, I dunno if I can be bothered to go through the effort of selling the car. Also it's gonna be a lot of money. 
I dunno what to do, why does insurance have to be such a bloody rip off in this country.

get another corsa?
1.4 16v
or dare i say it a zetec s - slow for a 1.6 but cheap to insure and they handle well

I'd sell it and pay £1500 for the gti if u can afford it but that's my opinion

or keep the corsa modding it then put a big engine init
i have 60bhp and i can live with that untill i have sufficient funds
you have 80 odd bhp so its not the slowest car ever is it?

1.4 16v won't be fast enough - my car has more torque than one of them at the moment (I think) 
Even a 1.6 16v will be slow... unless I get a new inlet manifold for it - but that will also be £££.
Hmm, maybe I'll try to persuade my mum to buy one for herself, then I'll take it off her hands occasionally

Why not keep the corsa, dont kit it and drop a 1.6 in. That should keep you happy for a couple of years

Keep your SXi and put a bigger engine in it in a couple of years.
Trust me this is your best option, I regret selling my SXi and not going down this route.

think cause OJC's was a nice example bodywork/kit wise and all it needed was a 2.0 then it would have been sorted

I prefer a std looking gsi tbh, but yeah his sxi was quite nice

Yes I was a stupid fool for selling it.
The reason I missed it so much was that it was immaculate and so easy to keep clean and tidy.
Infact I need to stop thinking about it because it annoys me.

GSi was mint but was hard to keep clean and once you own a caribic blue car you go off the colour. After seeing it parked next to Luke Toms caribic blue Corsa my paint work looked fcuked so it needed a re-spray

get a 106, you wont regret it
Try elephant for insurance, im 20 0NCB with pass plus, i pay £1600. You would probably get a similar quote as long as you have a decent postcode.
Alternatively admiral and bell direct will provide similar quotes.

No, there is no rust on it apart from the rear arches which are being removed and having new ones welded in.
