do u play either football or rugby traveling to Away matchs with 4 oths big lads in ya car
is it possible to have ur car lowered with 5 people in with abit of weight that is
and if so what is the max drop without the wheels scraping the arches?
(looking for putting 16's on the car)

16's lowered 40mm should be ok.

uprate the bump stops etc too...

LOL well im 17 and i play U18's and also "open age" football at the weekends

i wanna start modding (properly) as soon as i pass but dont wanna stop playing footy as i have a chance to get to the next level

i dont mind haveing a filthy car from the feilds and that just want it to look nice though

I had these plastic coils you put in your springs to stop in compressing as much.

They are designed mainly for caravans with a heavy load.

Quite cheap as well, so that may help.

You should be able to get some 16's on and lower it 40mm and still have people in the back. BUT one of your back wheels, or maybe both could rub your arches. If that happens de bolt yor back arches - do a search I'm sure theres something on this...

btw im on 16's et45 -60mm gmax kit, shall i upgrade the bumpstops and to what ones???

I play u18 football during the week, and used to drive, but ill just say cant have people in the back, can only take one person, or go with someone else.

And for my sunday footie we meet at the local, so i just walk down there and get a lift

im taking it that 40mm i will get away with i think i should just not alow more than 2 -3 peeps in the car

i wouldnt bother.... had 5 ppl in my corsa lowered by 40 on 195/45/15 (however on a ET 35) and i have a srcub when i went over a bump in da road
