I got home today, when i got in the rain has been so hard the gutter is leaking and is comming down back of the house and in through the cavity i think and poured down the window inside on the sill and on the electric sockets (luck i got there to un plug) and onto the floor.
Still dripping now will the insurance pay up?Lee

yeh cant c why not... get in touch and if i were u i would turn ya sockets off from the fuse box aswell... that could be dangerouse if u dont!!!

Sorry mate Insurance will prob not pay as due to guttering which is wear and tear.

DO NOT tell them it was guttering that caused the fault....

unless try and put it down to storm damage etc...

yeh but even if the gutterin is broke surely it shouldnt leak to the internal wall

could be slates maybe??? then u could put it down to wind/storm if you've had the weather that is...

I have been up and looked it is a hole from sort of down pipe which was there, some of the houses have the down pipe and some don,t. There is a crack in the bathroom window sill and it has gotinto there and come through
