had a brakelight out - old bulb was black and looked like it had gone with a bang. fitted noew bulb, it didnt work and neither did the other side.
Checked all connections, lights on other side started flashing for a few secs.
Eventually new bulb started working, but other side still not.
Drove a mile down the road and the brand new bosch bulb blew, with a bang - Whats going on??
Anyone had this? Will it be bad connections at the cluster end, or a fault somewhere in the fusebox/dash?

p.s connections all seem good at cluster, no corrosion on bulb units ??

check the fuse, then use a multimeter and see what voltage /current is coming through it.

could be a dodgy earth! had this problem on my astra, ran a new earth and it sorted the problem
