bodywork will be finished next week. Drop a 2 litre lump in it end of this year or next year, keep that for a few years (saving the money i used to spend modding it) then buy a different car after that. Spent so much time and money on mine that i want to keep it for a good few years, especially as i wont get most of th emoney back.

totally agreed, but i love it! I figure if i can keep it for a few years when its finished, it will make a bit more sense financially, plus i will be able to appreciate my efforts.

I was bored of modding but then saw a different direction to take and that is the Nova direction, don't make it look stupid with fibre glass tat just make it immaculate and special with a special engine.

No I do not want it back (well I do) but I would remove all the fibreglass crap and fit steinmetz stuff, put a 1.6 16v in.
Adam, did'nt get chance to have a go. Its going up the my mechanics house in the next couple of weeks to have the suspension, bushes & brakes fitted so I'll get him to get it off and get a new steering wheel for it.

something simple, just a few small tweeks makes a car look sweet. If you mod OTT then its gona be for personal pleasue coz u will lose lots of wonga wen you sell.

personally after driving a few newer cars i hated them
ok there more comfy and nice to drive, but you dont get noticed and cant surprise other cars
Yes ollie, trax is my intended deadline, hoping for about 150bhp! wanting something that is clean and no fibreglass
