happened to me today, and i think people are getting worried about it.

oh yeah, and BTW these the part is £16 each. so pretty cheep really.

right deffo changing these now this is the third person ive heard that these have snapped on in the past month.

its just one of them jobs that i keep putting off like a my rear brake shoes!

Bottom ball joints often go on Corsas/Novas, just check them, you dont need to run out and buy a new set unless they are in sh'te condition.

Nova ones are £30 each, Corsa ones will be similar.

After wot happened to brads car i have changed the trackrod ends and bottom ball joints just incase, if i didnt have 19's i prob wouldnt have changed them. for the sake of £100 max say saves £0000's if anything was to go.

the same happened to me just like robs. but my wheel came off and i went into a curb and it cost 350quid to get fixed so i advise u all to look at em. dodgey vauxhall

where do they rub? inner arch, outer arch? full lock? what offset are your wheels?

well i just hear them when the car is cold doing a full lock. not sure wat an offset is but if its size they are 14" euro style

they are about £9 from motor factors, about £25 from vauxhall, or £12 for vaux ones from autovaux.

My balljoint went as i was going round a roundabout, went straight into the kerb and snapped 1 of my adjustable shocks and wrecked one of my wheels!! aswell as the wing and snapping the front off my sideskirt all for the sake of a cheepo balljoint! getting the bus at the min and god is it annoying!!
