But even in its category its not fast at all
1.6 16v VTS / 106 GTi same power, smaller cc engine, a second faster to your 60mph mark (and will rape the corsa to 100mph)...........
Clio cup... yes its a 2.0ltr, but its also bout a 1.5seconds faster to this 60mph mark and to 100mph the corsa is left for dust.............
erm 1.8 20VT Ibiza ALOT quicker that the corsa...........
I could go on forever but the bottom line is that the 1.8SRi corsa isnt really that impressive as standard. Would be interested to see what a tuned one is capable of though knowing vaux/GM its been restricted in someway
