how much would a 1.4 16v egnine plus gearbox cost

Would drive shafts need to be changed?

fuel pump?

This is all for a 1.2 8v merit

nah not really the adverage price for a C16XE is about £300-350 depending on condition

Yeah i hear insurance is horrendous in Ireland, like completely insane, could ya not afford the insurance on a 1.4 or 1.6 then thats bad, if i dropped a 2litre Turbo in my insurance wouldnt be much more than £1500 Fully comp i wouldnt have thought

on a 1.4 i could probably afford alright 1.6 would be dodgy

like id be willing to pay very high insurance but its getting the chance to

ya ring them up over here and they tell you that car has to big of an engine and we cant quote u on it

insurance in ireland horrendus--> i have a 1.2 8v 1994 i'm 27 fare enough its my first insurance and it cost me €2310 thats about £2000 third party

Then u have to take tax into account 1901cc-2000cc--> €639 a year thats about £500

as i said about id pay over 3k for a 2ltr corsa but u find it hard to get a quote.

sure this is off Hibernian 1 of irelands biggest insurers

this is one of the conditions to get an online quote

"Is not a car vanette, kit car, sports car, convertible, gti, Vtec. Is a right hand drive model and not converted, adapted or modified in any way"
