Right we have found the root of the problem, Power fucking crazy in Licoln (never use them) have bored the engine for the oversized pistons on the piss so it is stressing the main bearings and has eaten yet another crank
Soulution is come tomoz i will be the proud owner of a THIRD C16XE, we are buying another, taking all the best bits from the three and building a beast, totally re-built head to bottom for the 3RD time god dam i am so pissed off, bet no one else has 3 C16XE's, we have a C20XE at the workshop and there is talks of that going in, its tuned up to 180+BHP, but fittin it with a F16 gear box and standard GSI shafts AINT a good idea, so we will see what happens tomoz, keep ya posted, i could get a feature for this, tell my story about my Hybrid C16XE lol

Oh the most gutting thing is i gave my GSI bumper away to a friend, he had a change of plans and gave it to his mate and it now sits proudly on Power Crazys V6 Corsa, the same corsa my engine came from, God dam it, what are the chances of that, Power Crazy didnt even own the corsa when i had the engine out of it, its just coincidence they bought it and also got hold of MY bumper

They sound like cowboys m8, but there no point in fitting another 1.6 when you've got a 2ltr sitting there with 180+bhp, I know what one i'd rather have.

yeah i know, but we aint got shafts or gear box for it, so might be more hassle than its worth, its an old engine, where as mine will be brand spanking new 0miles on it

yeah, stick with the 1.6 mate, build it stong then u can stick some tb's on it at a later date (if u feel like spending more £££ on it!!) hope u get ur money back!!!!

Man dont start tempting my with the gearbox, only shafts left to get lol,
Think i will stick with the 1.6, we are building this one STRONG, it should be able to cope and last well, i hope i get some money back too, just call me 3engine speno, lol, im starting to laugh about it now, things couldnt get no worse, shouldnt have said that cos with my luck the probably will
