Author fitting grille to pre 97 bumper help

i bought a new grille thats for my pre97 bumper. i had cut out the old grille but the new one wont go in. after i cut out more of the old bit it leaves some gap between the new grille and the bumper near the light.do i use some kinda stuff to fill those gap? cheers

have u cut out the whole of the grille now? if u have there will be a gap that needs to be bridged and filled (bit of mesh then filler)

i just used sum normal filler mate, just read the tins in halfords shud tell u which 1 u need
