New carpets from vaux are around £80-£90. They are pre-moulded to shape so it just sits in perfect. Also its not stuck with anything so once youve removed all the items fitted to the floorpan its easy.
You need to remove both front seats (2 torx bolts in each), rear bottom seat (two X-screws), gear shaft surround (1 X-screw), passenger shelf (shin height 1 X-screw) and then the side sill covers and kickpannels which are lots of torx screws but very easy if you take your time and their should be a X-screw in the top of each kickpannel. Sorted
Dead easy job, seriously

Im not sure if they come in a range of colours but I might get a black one for my 5door as my grey one has had some stick! I wouldnt even aatemt to stick new material to the existing carpet, to many curves/intricate shapes, it would crease and ripple and generally look like a pile of shite!

Totally agree.
I may look at a scrap car to see the quality of carpet, but i want a black one, to go with my black doors i plan to put in and my black calibra seats i want to put in... which will just leave me with the rear window shelf and crappy pillars and the roof sigh
