i'm having this trouble with my car, it cuts out after i cane it
my speedo sender is not connected to the gearbox at all, is this why its doing it?

from what i understand of the speed sensor(which is not alot) it could more than likely be your problem. i have the same problems as described earlier in the post, bought a new speed sensor but its a right pain in the arse getting to it, anyone got any handy tips?

take the battery out dude
or get the car on axle stands and use soeone with thin arms

i can confirm mate if you have electronic speedo and this isnt working, the ecu wont be getting the signal for the speed the car is doing. Im guessing your car is only cutting out when coming to a stop @ round abouts and junctions? Had similar problem when i installed my digidash didnt have the speedo feed going back to the ECU so car was cutting out at every junction or roundabout etc had to keep reving it to keep it going was pulling my hair out at the time.

yes rob your car will cut out when you press in the clutch with no speedo conected...

thanks very much,found the 20amp fuse under the dash changed it and the speodo works,the cig lighter and the reverse lights.
