you should just need to enable it then try connecting remotely, or are you stuck in a much more complicated way?

2003 mate. Its just really a general idea as what to do. I havnt tried and was wondering if anyone could give me some tips as to ways of setting it up.

Not sure about 2003, but in 2000 server. just go to control panel/Add remove Windows components. You should see terminal services in the list somewhere. check the box to install it.
You'll then get Terminal Services appear in the administrative tools menu. From here you can create installation disks for client machines.
It only works for 90 dayz tho before you have to register your terminal services licence with Microsoft.

Unless you install in Remote Administration mode only, which doesn't require licenses (but only allows two simultaneous connections)...

i think with 2003 you have to register either way. we have a 2003 server at work, and after 90 days we couldnt logon to it. we had to licence it.
Its set up for Remote Admin, not an Applications Server.
