ET49 is the perfect off-set for the corsa my friend so they should go on no probs without mods.

ET49 is normally the perfect offset for us, but with 205/40/17's ur better off with ET45 I believe.
U shouldn't have too much problems with a little bit of minor archwork.
I've seen Corsa's with 5 people in the car with 205/40/17's and just debolted arches (and lowered -40mm)

Hahahaha! You love answering it though Luca.
Mate, Luca has 17's in ET45 and apparently his don't scrub at all. No matter what, with ET45, you're going to be pretty safe. I'd say get them on your car, and if you find that they scrub at all, it's not hard to fix. Simply undo the bolts that the tyres scrub on (it'll only be those - up under the lip of the arch), take the arches off, take the bolts out, and glue the arches back on. Easy as piss!
Or if you don't like the idea of glueing them on, you can put speed clips into the arches and use round headed screws to screw them back onto the body (you'll understand when you take them off).
Hope helps mate.
