Also, didn't think it was possible to turn off the traction control, do Gsi owners have this priviledge?

why were you the underdog...you had 30BHP more mods...the weight differance is very very little. Just because it looks sporty doesnt make it faster.

Look at the 888 compared to your coupe!?

Also the driver probably wasnt aware that your standard looking coupe was a turbo.

I meant apparent underdog. In general terms, people would predict a Astra Gsi Turbo to beat a Coupé Turbo. Just from appearances point of view.

to people that have no idea about astras yes, but to you no its not the "apparent underdog"...but then that makes the Gsi an even better car in standard form...it looks sportier than the coupe and is the same performance.

yeah it is switchable on/off via a switch on gsi

yes it is possible to add switchable TC to your coupe......dont however just remove the fuse as vibrio has said, if you do you will you will lose power steering and ABS as well.
