its not too bad - i fitted remote central locking - it was a microscan kit. the only annoying thing i found was mounting the motors and feeding the wires through the doors

do it another way. I used a 97 astra setup in my Corsa B van. basically grab the door catch and all the associated wiring involved on the doors( grab the switch on the door handle too with the clip) and plug it into your existing harness.
on the drivers side ( RHD) under the ECU is a black box . this is the CDL control unit. grab it.

check that you have the capability to run it tho. to do this:
unclip/unscrew the door harness and pull the rubber seal back if you have heaps of wires there then it SHOULD work. take the ecu on your car loose and find the corresponding plug and plug the CDL module in add a fuse and you're away.

beats trying to feed cables through the things and they wont stuff up after 6 months either.
