right, i have 2 subs... once the volume goes up to about 21 out of a possible 35, the back of the car starts to rattle like fook!!!
however, inside the car, it sounds nice and crisp. What is the problem? i thought it was the number plate at first, but it wasnt. Its more to do with the bottom bit of the bumper, and possibly the bit which is touching a metal piece under the car.
How do i get rid of this rattling!? can only hear it outside of the car, not inside.

You need to sound deaden your boot
Take the install out and carpet etc, then use dynamat to deaden the sound

yer dynamat or brown bread. Costs bout £10-£15 a roll. You wud be best doin the same to ya doors while ya at.
Turn ya stereo to how ya listen to it, get out n shut the doors n listen to how much volume is escaping. My guess wud be quiet alot.
Dynamat and brownbread (Sound deadening) will reduce this n make ya system sound louder inside the car aswell!!

I had this rattle on mine sounds fine inside, but if ya get out of your car the back bumper vibrates like fook on the spare wheel. I put a little rubber thingy between bumper and spare wheel, seems to have solved most of the rattling. But sound deadening will also solve it - probs do a better job too but it only cost be £2 for the little bit of sticky rubber from B&Q!

The little rubber things I got where meant to go on the feet of stools in a kitchen. Where only a couple of quid from B&Q.
I stuck them on the spare wheel casing between that and the bumper.
See pix below, the rubber thingys are the two small white coloured things I have circled in red!!
