Driving home from my girlfriends last night, comin from penistone to barnsley, and it just started banging it down with snow so I was literally at a 15mph crawl all way home.
Could hardly get up a few roads that were inclined on way home, but when I came to a decline road, oh momma....
I started going down the hill very very very very slowly (cars were at other side trying to get up the hill and just failed) so I was in first gear letting car slow itself down, I breathed on the brake and my car went veering off into the kerb and took a hooge chunk out of my lovely pretty beautiful alloys and my tired is fubar'd too!! (I took some pics, can someone host em?)
My car then decided to do a 180 spin in the middle of the road and was then facing the wrong way on the road with cars flying down (fcukin d1ckheads should have been going much much much slower!!!!) and this one tw4t in a red megane literally missed the front of my car by about 1/2" My heart was pumping like a virgin boy going at it for the first time!!!!!!!

So dunno whether my alloy can be refurbed or not, defo gonna have to buy a new tire for it. Anyone know where I can get a good price on Falken FK451 235/25/18?

Needed that rant this morning!!!

same happened to me,
hit the kurb at 20mph!!!!

i knew i was going into the kurb so instead of countersteering away from the kurb, i steered towards it, so the tire was facing it rather than hitting side on!

got out to check damage, and still manage to kurb!

started the usuall swearing little did i know there was people behind me lookin!

i hit a curb stagh on at 30mph and landed in a ditch. cos of a drunken driver in a white renault van

good thing i had steelies then, cos both of them were mashed.
