if something is advertised as havin 2 rca preouts does this mean that is has left/right front channel and left/right rear channel?

it could mean that or it could mean that it has a rear or front channel + a sub preout. it should say if it has a separate subpreout. which one u looking at mate?

should really be described as two sets or pre-outs.
if it just says 2pre-outs, they could be cleverly marketing a unit with just one 'pair'

so lookin at the first post where iv bought it from, im in the right arent i? cuz it advertised as having 2 preouts? it came today and im gutted.

its quite confusing cos some places ive looked at say 1 pre-out and others say 2 pre-outs. u will have to wait and see when you get it.... or u could ring up the place you bought it from and ask them. u would think that they should know.

iv got it here. i ordered it yesterday, purely because it says 2 preout!!!!! but it come with only 1 for front. so its false advertising isn't it?

couldn't be entirely sure mate.
retailers have been known to get specs wrong when creating adverts, so it could be a genuine error. on the other hand they aren't lying entirely as 2rca's create a pair. like with home audio. the leads are called 2phono-2phono indicating that there are some applications where only one is used. it's a bit rare of them though if it is a marketing ploy.
best thing is to call em and se if they will upgrade it to the next one in the range with 2sets of outputs for nothing. if it's a mistake then they may go for it. if it's a scam then you'd have to pay the difference and the re-postage costs
