i posted a thread yesterday regarding a problem i had with a false advert where i bought my stereo from, well i been on the blower with the company and their md is deciding what to do. its lookin likely they will do the right thing and upgrade my stereo. here is the link

got a phone call from the company. now sayin they wont upgrade, so i contacted Trading Standards, and they're sorting it out!!!!!!!

now they know ur serious about it they should upgrade you cos they wont to be on the wrong side of the law! let us know wot happens.

they dont actually have to provide you with a upgarde to a standard discribed on the website. they do however have to offer a full refund.

but they can still get in trouble with trading standards through false advertising, but im sure it wasnt done with intension to fool. trouble is, allot of companies dont do there own website, they employ a company to do it. often which dont know about the stuff they are doing the sire about

yeah i agree they didn't advertise incorrectly on purpose, but they should still look after their customers
