yeah thats what i thought prob only use more cos u drive diff due to the induction kit, but if u drive the same u reckon fuel consumption will be roughly the same??

use more fuel with a different filter bcuz an aftermarket filter allows more air in, the mass air flow meter reports this to engine ecu, and then injection ratio changes to compensate. its called the stoichemetric ratio(air and fuel quantity). and on most new vauxhalls the ratio is 14.7 parts air, to 1 part fuel.

i have a piper x, and get about 200 miles to 20 litres round town. 250 miles on a run. If anything, fuel consumption increased since fitting my induction

you'll find most cars don;t actually run this. and you've got no chance of a forced induction car or one that revs a lot

perfect AFR. I doubt any car actually runs this. certainly in turbo cars you get 13:1or richer depending on boost and cooling

right i get u now but i did say most vauxhall, not other makes. the 1.2 new 1.4 and one litre rita's all have a very close afr to 14.7:1. obviously for bigger turbo applications itll b different like u say. dont matter what it is really cuz petrol is still too friggin expensive!!!!!!
