Mum - likes mine, but thinks its too low at the front as it is and it aint lowered yet!

Dad - thinks my car look v. smart, he likes cars with a nice set of alloys on them. Used to have a golf gti with 17's on it which was very nice, but he didn't like the low low profile tyres as he buckled 2 of the alloys and had to have then replaced!

My mum hates the suspension and exhaust when she's in. She get embarassed if she ever drives it "Hope my friends don't see me in and think I'm a girlracer!"
She like how it looks and that I take good care of it tho.
My dad just hates the whole cr coz it's smaller size/engine than his Focus

Yeah same with my Dad!

My Mum+Dad both love my car. My Dad's into cars and vintage lorries, so I guess it rubbed off onto me at some point! He even came to PVS with me and Darren last year, and came with me when I took my car to MaxP Live too, which was really nice

My Mum doesn't understand why I modify my car

My Dad likes it but thinks its going to get stolen as it attracts attention and stands out.

My mum loves my car she's always interested in what im doing to it and asks questions when she doesn't understand what im talking about and she was dead proud when my car was featured in Redline and she enjoys showing off my trophies to whoever comes in the house

My dad hated it, he told me it was a waste of money, that a car is for getting from A to B and not worth spending money on. When I bought my Donny hothatch of the show trophy home he changed completely and told me that he was wrong and that he was really proud.

haha mines the same, he fecks about telling me im wasting my money/time, then comes out and does it for me

for instance, i decided i'd change me brakes , an easy job i thought, but just about every bolt and screw was fecked, took 2 days to get the discs off he did it for me after work - doesn't even live with me, came down and spent his evenings fixing ma car

Still thinks i waste money on it though

When i first started on my pug a year ago my ol man wasnt too keen on me modding cars, but since getting the corsa whenever im out doin summet to it he is always askin me if i need a hand!! He now takes a little interest.

But always get, 'what you bloody doing to that now'

Mum takes a good interest into it, asking me what im doing and what next etc. but always asks how much things were, usually say about 20 quid less than what it was , but she said she looks forward to when i finish it off.

They both complain about the zaust and music, and neither of them have been in it or drove it, since it's had wheels and been lowered!!!

My Mum thinks I drive like a crazy fool (probably true ) and that my car is 'fast enough as it is' pff...

My Dad keeps telling me to upgrade performance rather than styling - but seems to forget insurance is a bitch - He also thinks my Sxi is rather nippy - though he used to race cars and has some fast cars / bikes

Oh yeh and the most common conversation between me and my dad about my car is...

I say 'Hmm, my cars feeling slower... Feels so flat in the higher revs'

Dad says 'You just getting used to it, I drive it and it feels fine!'

I say 'Dad, just got it rolling roaded I was right - I need a new air flow meter'

Dad says 'Doubt that will make any difference'

I fit one - Get it rolling roaded and get 81 bhp rather than 64 bhp ... proves I knew what I was talking about and wasn't just imagining it ...

However, next week - 'Dad my car feels slower again' -

Dad says... 'your probably just imagining it'

Grr...
