I'm have trouble accessing cs thorough aol (I know), but I can access it fine using internet explorer. As usually aol are of now help. Can anyone help me
And I know it's aol, but I'm stuck with it for the time being

probably a problem with the aol proxy, as the internal browser in the aol software goes through it, where-as ie doesnt

It's probably the new cache-control lines which AOL's proxy doesn't like... Sorting it out don't worry...
Unless anyone very computer literate who uses AOL would like to help me troubleshoot this (add me to msn)...

tim how long have these new cache-controls been going?
I run a proxy on my lan & most of today I have been having to press F5 to refresh the page, or old forum data is shown, but before then everything was fine!
**EDIT**
Also, I don't think there is a way to solve this issue within AOL if it is there proxy, people will just have to use IE instead!
But try clearing out the temp cache for AOL (AOL Properties, internet properties, Clear Cache) or something like that, i think it may be listed under Keyword Help

btw the AOL Internet Properties are seperate from the ones in the control panel!

I just had...
"select command denied to user: 'adverts@localhost' for table 'settings'" then when i refreshed, it said "too many connections"

Getting a message that says too many connection every 3 mins or so after submitting a new port/response... also something about coneecion refused to adverts@localhost.....

Even though AOL's Proxy cache is updated every 24 hours, a member can clear their Browser Cache and force the reload of a page. This is done by either reducing the browser History to "0" and manually clearing all pages in history by deleting the files in the temporaty internet files tolder located in the Windows Directory or PC users can force a refresh by holding down the CONTROL key on their keyboard and mouse clicking on the AOL browser reload icon. The latter will completely clear all items in history.
