Okay peeps,
I have been offered a C20XE, ECU, and gearbox from a Mk2 Astra (H reg) for £250.
Do I need to use this gearbox, and is it a F20??
What gearbox is in my Corsa 1.4 16V Sport? Do I keep this when fitting the C20XE?
PVD fitting kits: These are £500. Do I need anything else apart from this and the above?

cv joints of the astra
and i think u need the g/box thats with the engine

u can use F16 box as well m8
for rest of stuff ie shafts/mounts, u2u lee mitchell as they will be miles cheaper than PVD
i think the 1.4 has F13 box

you cannot use a small block gearbox (F,12,13,14,15)

f20's are tough boxes, ideal really
f13's are with 1.4 16v normally

f2o u can pick them up for as low as 30quid

I bought an F20 for 20 quid on eBay.
The best place to search is the kit car scene. A lot of people are putting Vauxhall engines in Caterhams etc. but they don't keep the box.
