wot is going on with my car??? i have just passed my MOT two weeks ago... and it was fine all of a sudden i think my gearbox is on its way out and theres a funny smell in my car of somethin burning could this be the gearbox? it seems odd that when changing gears it is realy stiff... or does it need oiling? if yes where? someone help me....!! btw where can i get a gearbox from cheap?? anyone from around Luton know??

sounds more like the clutch than the gearbox

u will know if the gear box goes well i did anyway, u will hear a rattlin noise coming from the gear box that is what happened to mine anyway.

get a new clutch fitted
around £80 i think
