how easy is it to do the above??
is it possible to just swap my 1.4 8v engine for a 1.6 16v?
if not, how much work needs doing?

search dude.

also you need engine gearbox loom ecu

think engine mounts if the 1.6 has p/s but not 100%??

yes will need engine mounts if your car has p/s...from what i was told about a c16xe conversion, but as far as im aware 8v sri's didnt come with p/s, mine didnt anyway!!

mine aint a sri, its just a standard 1.4 8v. ive been offered a GSI engine

Its more difficult than putting in a 8v the mounts are different and the loom is different
