Pished down yesterday - was NO fun to work in! Were they in Tattersalls or the Centre of the course? We were betting all week in the Centre, pitch No3 next to the Guiness Village tent, we are bookmakers called Jack Wilton Mansfield

I was there on thursday for the main day. Loved it, even tho we had a monster drive. Didnt have any big wins really, just a few place, but had a great time, cant wait for the national now!

He he, we have an account with Ladbrokes! Their floor men like to come and have bets with us in the ring when they want to shorten a price for the S.P returns . I just got back from Uttoxeter races, its been abandoned because of very bad wind - the John Smiths tent (massive tent) nearly took off with everyone inside

I know its a shame! It was the busiest ive ever seen Uttoxeter, we would have won loads

How cum betfair sucks balls? Affraid that the majority of us bookies would have to agree that betfair has made our business VERY hard. Our profit margins are sooo tight, competition is very fierce. Its also a licence to print money for the crooks (trainers) who lay their 'dead' horses
