As title, just wondered if white undercar neons where legal to have on whilst driving?

They are not bright, they dont dazzle you, they are white and not the colour of any emergency services so cannot be confused with police etc

Anyone know ?

the law states that

only white light can shine from the front of the car

orange light can shine from the sides

and red from the rear of the car

so u cud get away with one white at the front....an ornage one either side...and red at the rear of your car.....the police wud probs tell u to turn them

but u are at least legal...the only thing they can do you for if u get all white...is creating a distraction to oncoming vehicles

oncomming vehicles wouldnt beable to see it anyway due to headlights being on

they cant do you for having all the same colour, as long as you cant see the neon strips, the coppers cant do anything, but if you can see the strips then you have to have the colours outlined above.

yeah, coz its classed a a glow. so they can only do you if thay actually see the tube. if you go over a bridge turn them off, lol.

Thanks for help everyone ! The tubes will be hidden away, they look shite when you can see them

everyone who's had fines for their neon washers should write to the ticket office and demand their money back !!
