Purchased today from R-Tec, chrome 18's (ALBA Edge 700).

Quality looks pukka, i looked at a few other chrome rims and the finish looked a little bumpy, as if it was a very thin layer of chrome. Think mine are triple layered.

Walked in R-Tec, looked around for a few mins, talked to a chap about the chromes, he said he had a set in stock... an hour later the lex was sitting on 'em and i was £1495 shorter

Didn't even intend on buying anything, was just going for a browse

Also, ive always told myself i'd never get chromes due to our crappy weather, oh well i'll just have to clean 'em every couple of days

hand polished is different to chrome mate.

chrome is a plating, not just the original alloy shined up.

and rims look sweet craig.

Chromes are very hard to look after mate, i have to clean mine almost everyday, if i dont then they dont look like chrome and look dusty, heres a pic:

Nice rims mate, chromes are high maintenance, mine on my Civic go dull within 2 days of cleaning them, constantly cleaning them up now, especially as winter has just passed.

Would have got some 18" Vaults, Status or Zenetti if it were me though. Cheaper too.
