Fcuker won't come out, gearbox is in the way, then something else is in the way, then rear engine mount is in the way.
Can't drop it out because anti roll bars won't come off
Thanks to Lee for helping me though On the phone. Going to remove the gearbox tomorrow and try again, I wonder how many things are gonna go wrong removing that

Its supposed to be dropped, surely you can get the anti-roll mounts off with a big pry bar or something? There should be room to get something out the front of the car?

But I also need 2 massive trolley jacks to lift the car over the engine so I can drag it out.

ollie do this.
is the a macd's or asda near by?
they have little set of wheels get one and put a board of wood on it then
if you have removed the driveshafts
unbolt all engine mounts while supporting the engine with hoist
then slide the wheels underneath
attach hiost to the anti roll bar at either side, front
lift the car up and roll the engine forward on the wheels and slide out the passenger side

take centre pin out
undo the centre nut
undo the ball joints and split them from the suspension and brake
pull the brake disk towards you and slip the bar out from behine the disk/hub
then pull hard and theyll come out if the gear box
put balljoint back in and bolt up then it can sit on its wheels if need be like mine did

get some rope and wrap it around the front of the car, behind the bumper, then use the crain to lift the car up high enough to pull the engine out. I did this on mine, didnt cause and damage, worked very well.

This is also a option, might just let the engine drop and wriggle it through the anti roll bars.

everything coming from the engine should be removed first, get it all out the way so your engine has more room to be lifted through

as for your anti roll bar not coming off....
first you need to grease all the bolts and nuts attatched to it, let it all run down the fixations, undo it half way, then tighten them back up again and all the grease will have run through the threads, then it should be fairly easy after that.people seem to think if they tighten everything up too tight it will hold in place better

Decided to take the anti roll bars off and drop the engine out the bottom then use the engine lift to lift the car over the engine.

the trolley cost nothing to make, just used my 10year old cousins skateboard wheels, and a bit of thick plywood, saved me a lot of hassle
